INTEGRATED ATPL (H)- IR

The ATPL(H) IR Integrated Course corresponds to the highest European aviation qualification, designed to train pilots to the level of proficiency required to operate single-engine, multi-engine and multi-pilot helicopters, and to fly under instrument flight rules (IFR).

In Coptering, the student directly accesses this advanced standard without intermediate steps, optimizing his time, preparation and professional opportunities.

The program combines theoretical and practical training in a coordinated manner, so that each learning phase is reinforced with cockpit and simulator experience.

Theoretical classes are held in our classrooms at Sabadell Airport.
Flight practices are also carried out in Sabadell, using state-of-the-art Cabri G2 helicopters and a twin-engine AS355N helicopter certified for instrument flight, which guarantees a safe, complete training aligned with real operational requirements.

In addition, the course includes H-135 FNPT II simulator training for MCC, IR and PBN, ideal for practicing procedures and emergencies with precision and a high level of realism.

To access the integrated course CPL(H) + ATPL-IR Theoretical, the student must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • To have a Baccalaureate or pass the academic level tests established by the school.
  • Have a valid Class I medical certificate.

750 hours of classroom classroom instruction in our classrooms at Sabadell Airport.

The approximate duration of the course is 20 months, depending on the planning of the sessions and the student’s dedication.

  • To train pilots to the highest level of proficiency within the European framework, prepared for multi-engine, multi-pilot and IFR operations.
  • To provide the CPL on license, ATPL frozen theory, instrument rating and MCC competencies required for multi-pilot environments.
  • Develop technical, operational and crew resource management (CRM) skills in different flight scenarios.
  • Integrate theory, simulator and real flight to consolidate a solid and competitive professional profile.

The course is structured in two main blocks: theoretical training and practical training in flight and simulator.
