INTEGRATED ATPL (H)

The Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Course (ATPL-H) aims to fully train pilots to operate single and multi-engine helicopters, as well as in multi-pilot environments, with VFR attributions in commercial air transport.

This is a program that integrates theoretical and practical training in a coordinated manner, so that the knowledge acquired in the classroom is reinforced and consolidated in the flight and simulator sessions.

Theoretical classes are taught in our classrooms located at Sabadell Airport.

The flight practices are carried out from the airport itself, with new Cabri G2 helicopters, with state-of-the-art design and technology for greater learning and safety, and with a twin-engine AS355N helicopter, certified for instrument flight.

The course also includes the use of the Coptering simulator, an EC-135 FNPT II, suitable for MCC training and ideal for practicing emergency procedures.

  • Be 17 years old
  • Baccalaureate or passing academic placement tests in school
  • Class I medical certificate

650 hours of theoretical training.

The approximate duration of the course is 18 months, depending on the planning of the sessions and the student’s dedication.

  • To train helicopter airline transport pilots with a complete preparation in commercial VFR operations.
  • Develop competencies to operate single and multi-engine helicopters, as well as in multi-pilot environments.
  • Integrate theoretical and practical training to maximize the benefits of learning.
  • To train the student in normal, abnormal and emergency procedures, both in real helicopters and in simulators.

The course is structured in two main blocks: theoretical training and practical training in flight and simulator.

  • MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation).

Among the possible professional opportunities associated with this course are, among others:

  • Emergency operations (HEMS).
  • Rescue operations (sea or mountain).
  • Fire extinguishing.
  • Police services (traffic, customs).
  • Aerial filming and photography.
  • Tracking of gas or electricity lines.
  • Passenger transportation.
  • In order to register, a training contract must be signed and the registration fee must be paid.
  • The school has different payment and financing systems and facilities, adapted to the circumstances of each student.
  • Different accommodation options are offered for students who require it.
  • Once the course has been completed and the corresponding license obtained, Coptering students may receive, if they wish, advice and preparation for access to the selection tests and job vacancies of the various national and international airlines, according to their interests and preferences.

Total price of the course: 102,500

The course is presented as a comprehensive training proposal, designed to provide the student with a clear and complete vision of the investment to be made from the beginning, without the need to incorporate the essential elements of the training process later on.

The total amount of the course includes:

  • Theoretical exam fees (first attempt of each subject).
  • Examination flight.
