The ATPL(H) Modular Course allows the student to obtain a complete training towards the ATPL level in a flexible and staggered way, advancing by modules according to his/her availability and professional moment.
The training is structured in four modular steps:
- PPL(H)
- Online theoretical ATPL
- Time Building (155 hours)
- CPL(H)
The itinerary is designed so that, once the PPL(H) is obtained, the student can take the online theoretical ATPL and Time Building in parallel, and then complete the CPL(H). The PPL(H) is always a key step, whether it is taken at Coptering or previously obtained at another school.
The flight practices are carried out from Sabadell Airport, with new Cabri G2 model helicopters, with state-of-the-art design and technology, oriented to maximize learning and safety.
The program also includes the use of the Coptering simulator, an H-135 FNPT II, suitable for training and for practicing emergency procedures.
Modular structure of the ATPL(H) program
The modular scheme is shown below, highlighting the importance of PPL(H) and the possibility of taking certain modules in parallel:
| Modulo1 ★ (mandatory) | Module 2 ★ | Module 3 ★ | Module 4 ★ |
|---|---|---|---|
| PPL(H) | Online Theoretical ATPL | Time Building – 155 hours | CPL(H) |
| Prerequisite for access to the rest of the modules. May have been obtained at Coptering or another school. | Can be taken once the PPL(H) has been obtained. It can be taken in parallel with Time Building. | It can be performed in parallel with the theoretical ATPL once the PPL(H) has been obtained. | Last module of the itinerary, taken after completing the previous steps. |
★ Indicates mandatory modules within the modular ATPL(H) pathway.
